My Shopping Genie
Follow the steps below to participate in this program.
The program will install on your computer and gives you a chance to compare prices for items at several national websites. Each time you do a search for an item using your favorite internet search engine, the 4-H Foundation logo appears at the bottom of the webpage and gives you an opportunity to compare prices. Each time you click on the "Compare" button in the lower right corner, the Colorado 4-H Foundation receives a small donation, even if no purchase is made.
To setup the program please do the following.
- Go to the following website: myshoppinggenie.com/4hdeals
- Click the circular “get the free app” button in the upper right hand corner.
- Write down the key code 29455 and click on the download for the genie version you prefer (Classic is recommended).
- Click the run or save file button which ever appears
- If the save button appears and is clicked a down loads box will appear in the upper left or right hand corner of your computer screen. Double click on the on Genie4setup.exe file, and then click the run button if asked.
- Follow the rest of the instructions to install the program.
- When asked, type in the code 29455
- Restart your computer
- Use Google or another search engine for a product (i.e. laptop computer)
- A list of products will appear and the 4-H Foundation logo will be displayed in the lower left hand corner.
- Click the compare button and a series of company’s tabs and prices will appear.
- For better service click the options button change the location to your address.
